Spelt is one of the oldest cultivated grains (an ancient cousin of wheat). It is high in fibre, protein and vitamins.
Praised in the 12th centaury by St. Hildegarde von Bingen as "the best of grains".
Not suitable for nut, soya, sesame & milk allergy sufferers due to manufacturing methods.
